Sexual and reproductive health

This department is headed by a trained midwife. It is charged with coordinating and providing safe, effective and people-centred healthcare services to all women and men of reproductive age, pregnant women, neonates and infants, adolescents and menopausal women. The activities in this programme are both community- and health facility-based. The following are some examples of activities with the SRH programme of FALCOH:
  • Sexual and reproductive health education for adolescents,
  • Antenatal and postnatal services,
  • Maternity, labour and delivery services,
  • Child immunisation and Infant welfare clinic
  • Surgical care,
  • Nutrition clinic for women and children,
  • Family planning services,
  • Fertility care,
  • Prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT) and viral Hepatitis B,
  • Emergency and ambulance service
