FALCOH becomes a member of the National Coalition for quality Sexual & Reproductive Health Rights
Participation in the National forum on sexual and reproductive health rights
Despite being addressed through various programs and interventions such as; advocacy for girls and adolescent rights, access to quality healthcare, menstruation hygiene management, use of safe contraceptive methods, Sexually Transmitted Infections, and a comprehensive sexual education, a lot still remains to be done in fragile and conflict settings.
From the 23rd - 25th September, 2019 FALCOH Foundation, through her focal person for reproductive and adolescent health, joined other Civil Society organisations in Yaounde to elaborate a road map for Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and Menstrual Health Management (SRHR-MHM) in Cameroon.
During this three-day meeting participants took a stock of past and recent efforts made to improve the quality of sexual and reproductive health, especially for adolescents. In addition, FALCOH was selected to form the first ever National Coalition to Promote the Quality of SRHR-MHM which has a mandate of advocating for a better womanhood.
