Addressing the material needs of Internally Displaced Women to commemorate the International Women Day 2019 in the South West Region

Favour Low-Cost Healthcare Foundation (FALCOH) has as a key objective to promote health and prevent diseases in communities in Cameroon, especially those who are vulnerable to diseases and other forms of health problems (IDPs, women and girls, orphans etc).

To fulfil this calling and as part of the celebrations marking the 2019 edition of the International Women day, FALCOH (in collaboration with CHAMEG Cameroon) provided material and moral support to Internally Displaced Women in the South West Region of Cameroon.

This event was attended by over 50 women at the FALCOH headquarters in Mile 16 road (besides Lobe Cooperative building) in Buea. The material support ranged from clothes, shoes, sanitary pads, and foodstuff.

The beneficiaries were deeply satisfied and expressed their sincere appreciation to FALCOH and her partners for organizing an event as this. Contacts were exchanged and the beneficiaries were guaranteed further assistance should funding and material from partners be available.
